This uplifting event is all about celebrating the heart and soul of Horizon West—our incredible local businesses, organizations and individuals who bring joy to our community every day. The excitement will build as we unveil both the winner and runner-up, honoring their hard work and dedication to making our area a happy and healthy place to live! About Matthew's Hope
Matthew’s Hope is an independent, faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Orange and Brevard Counties, built on the principle of offering a hand up—not just a handout. Founded in response to a harsh 2010 freeze, this ministry has since grown into a beacon of hope—offering basic necessities, vocational training, emotional support and spiritual care to restore dignity and independence.

Why the Good Stuff Awards...
Horizon West Magazine is bringing the Good Stuff Awards to life to celebrate the vibrant community spirit and recognize the amazing local businesses, organizations and individuals that make Horizon West a great place to live. We believe in the power of highlighting those who bring joy, happiness and positive energy to our area, creating connections and building a stronger, more engaged community. The Good Stuff Awards are our way of shining a light on these unsung heroes and giving everyone a chance to show their appreciation for the people and places that make life in Horizon West special.

Here are the most commonly asked questions about the Good Stuff Awards, which honors those that are helping us live our best life here in the community we've chosen to call home - Horizon West.
What should I wear to the gala?
The dress code for the Good Stuff Awards Gala is business casual to cocktail attire. Our venue is the beautiful event barn at Southern Hill Farm - so if you want to theme your outfit to nod to the elegant farm environment - have fun with that!
We encourage guests to dress up for this special evening while remaining comfortable and ready to celebrate. Show up how you want to be presented to your community as the best in your category!
Will food and drinks be provided at the event?
Award winning food and dessert will be served. One alcholic beverage is included with each ticket. Cash bar available.
How will the winners be announced at the gala?
The Winner and Honoree of each category will be announced live on stage during the gala. We'll celebrate their achievements with by presenting each winner with a commemorative award to honor their excellence and contribution to our community.
While program time will not allow for winners to remark on stage, a commemorative photo upon exiting the stage will capture the moment for the winners to share with their community online.
How many people from our organization can attend?
To make the experience great for all 88 organizations being honored, we are limiting attendees to 2 per organization.
If we have extra capacity, we will email everyone to release additional tickets the week prior to the event .
What will the awards dinner experience be like?
You'll be greeted on the red carpet to the Thrive Cocktail Hour. Mingle and enjoy beverages, connecting with other honorees in our community as well as the Thrive Vendors who have offerings for local businesses to excel and grow.
Award Winning Food & Desert will be on hand so come hungry!
The awards ceremony will be a celebratory presentation where our community leaders are honored and supported by all of our local Horizon West peers who pouring their passions into serving our community in the pursuit of living a happy and healthy life!
Did we win if we were invited?
Yes, your organization is in the top two! The top two winners in each category of the Good Stuff Awards will be called up at the same time and the Winner and Honoree will be revealed live on stage!

What time is the event and do we need to stay for the entire time?
The event will begin at 6pm with the Thrive Cocktail Hour. The sit down awards ceremony with food begins around 7pm and runs until 9:00pm.
Honorees will be called to the stage when their category is announced. Anyone not present to receive their honor will be contacted after the event to coordinate delivery.
Will seating be assigned and is it important to stay at assigned table or can we swap seats?
ButtonYes, each table will have a tent card indicating how many seats for each organization. Our team will have a seating chart and be using it if needed to quietly approach and queue winners to the stage for upcoming categories, so having a representative preseent at the assigned table is important!
Is parking free?
Yes, self and valet parking at Southern Hills Farms is available at no charge.
Do I need to be concerned about shoes given the venue?
Valet parking is available at no additional cost so you'll be able to step out onto the paved path. Additionally, golf carts will be available to the event barn for those that would rather not walk down the path.
