CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER

Sylvia is a newcomer to Horizon West. Originally from Bulgaria, she comes to us via Jersey City, New Jersey. She was drawn here by the friendly vibe, perfect weather, vibrant neighborhoods and the appeal of the undeniable sense of community.

Sylvia has worked in a variety of businesses for two rewarding decades as a business development manager. In her current chapter, she serves as Customer Success Manager for Horizon West Magazine, building relationships and helping advertisers achieve their goals.

MANAGING EDITOR

A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Leah came to Horizon West in 2012 when a career shift allowed both her and her husband the freedom to work from anywhere. Enticed by nightly fireworks views and the chance to have the world’s most magical neighbor, they built a home here and have never looked back.

Leah’s career started in Pharma IT, but over time she found her calling in local journalism – helping residents, many of whom are transplants themselves, enrich their lives by embracing what Horizon West has to offer.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

After eight transfers during ten years in the US Army, Casey was eager to find a place to settle down. In 2020, Horizon West appeared on her radar, and she fell in love right away, immediately knowing this was to be her family’s home.

Casey is known for her passion for working with Veterans and Military personnel and supporting her community. While she has spent much of her career in the medical field with roles including EMT, combat medic, and master's student in healthcare administration, she now uses her creative talents and wide range of skills to support the varied needs of Horizon West Magazine.

DESIGNER

A native New Yorker, Rose found herself searching for a lively community where she and her husband could raise their young family. In 2022, they came to Horizon West not only for the ample playgrounds, trails and activities, but also for its vibrant arts scene. 

Rose has enjoyed the company of fellow creatives throughout her career as an illustrator, graphic designer and art instructor. Now, her neighbors in the theme park industry are some of the bests in the world. Rose’s own artistic talents contribute beautiful content to Horizon West Magazine. 

CONTENT & MARKETING STRATEGIST

Justin is a native Floridian, born in Jacksonville and raised in Ashburn, Virginia. His journey led him back to Florida in 2018, drawn by his love for Disney parks. Residing in Horizon West, Justin enjoys the area's hometown vibe alongside the convenience of being close to Disney, reflecting his appreciation for the magic and inspiration the parks provide.

In the early stages of his career, Justin worked as a Graphic Designer at an agency specializing in the cosmetic and beauty niche. This experience provided him with valuable insights on the importance of design and storytelling in effective communication. Today, as an A/E/C Marketing Professional, Justin's work is fueled by his passion for storytelling, design, and strategic messaging.

RESEARCH & SPECIAL PROJECTS

As a New Yorker seeking a warmer climate and a community that could nourish her mind, body and spirit, Marie was drawn to Horizon West over 20 years ago. Amazed by and grateful for the ways things have developed over the years, Marie makes fast friends with others who enjoy the benefits of our unique community. 

With a passion for health and a background in professional fitness, she adores living in a place that allows walking or biking to her favorite places. Marie employs her interests and passions to support research and content contributions for Horizon West Magazine.
