Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the most commonly asked questions about the Good Stuff Awards, which honors those that are helping us live our best life here in the community we've chosen to call home - Horizon West.
How do I nominate a company or organization and what are the guidelines?
Nominating your favorite local businesses and organizations is easy and fun! During voting you can write in an organization not already on the ballot. You can nominate an entity in multiple categories, just make sure they are logical for the entry. To submit more than one per category simply separate using a comma. Established Horizon West based business will be considered to be added to the ballot.
I can't find a category that fits the company/organization I want to nominate. Can a new one be added?
Our categories are not industry specific but rather experiential in nature, and we've done our best to anticipate the types of experiences we as humans want to have to live a good life in our community. That said, there is always room for new ideas to be shared! While we can’t add new categories once nominations are closed, we love hearing your suggestions to consider for next year. Please use the Category Suggestions form on this page to share your ideas and we’ll consider factors that make for a great 'best of' program when planning for the future.
Where will I find the finalists and winners of this year's program?
Once the program wraps up, we’ll announce the winners and finalists online and publish the printed Good Stuff Guide magazine. Winners who accept their invite will be honored at the Good Stuff Gala in the fall. This fantastic resource will be filled with details about the best, local HW offerings.
