WHAT:

The Good Stuff Expo is where our community comes to life. This free community experience brings together a diverse mix of Horizon West businesses, organizations and experiences for a day built around discovery, interaction and connection. From food, wellness and fitness to family, beauty, home, lifestyle, professional services, local organizations and more, attendees will have opportunities to experience the Good Stuff our community has to offer. And your brand is going to be part of the fun!

Vendor Setup begins at 8:00 am and must be completed by 9:30 am • Vendor Map Coming Soon
Vendor Breakdown may not begin before 2:01 pm, please aim to be completed by 3:00 pm

Vendor Checklist:

Stay organized! What to do before the event:

• Complete your Vendor Agreement (check your email!)
• Plan an engaging booth experience. How will you capture leads and connect with attendees to have them enter for your giveaway drawing at your booth
• Assemble your $100+ giveaway and drop off at our office no later than September 18th
  
• Prepare signage, handouts, samples and/or promotional items
• Spread the word!  Share & invite your team, friends and customers to the Expo on Facebook
• Bookmark this page and check back as we’ll continue adding booth assignments, event graphics, setup instructions and other important updates as we get closer to the big day
• Keep details of the Vendor Agreement in mind while planning

What to bring:

• Table and professional table covering
• Tabletop or freestanding signage
• Branded handouts and/or promotional materials (ex. business cards, flyers, etc.)
• Samples and/or products
• Your giveaway display
• A way to collect attendee information (ex. tablet, sign-up sheet, etc.)
• Supplies needed for your interactive experience
• Chargers or portable power banks (Access to electricity and reliable internet is NOT guaranteed, any critical need for electricity should be conveyed ASAP)
• While standing to engage with guests is preferred, bring a chair if needed (Please be aware there will be limited space per booth)

We've put together suggested basics from Amazon if you don't have a customized event setup already.

(Outdoor items are included in this list but aren't needed for this event unless you've arranged an outdoor spot with our team, the majority of event booths will be inside of OCOM)

MAKE YOUR BOOTH AN EXPERIENCE

This isn’t your typical vendor event and we don’t want typical vendor tables. Think beyond brochures on a table. Give attendees a reason to stop, participate, discover something, take a photo, taste something, try something, laugh, play or learn.

Depending on your business, that could mean:

• Samples or tastings
• A mini challenge or game
• A photo-worthy moment
• A make-and-take
• A product demonstration

• A quick assessment or consultation
• A special Expo offer
• Something unexpected that lets people experience what makes your business special

The goal is to create a memorable interaction that starts a relationship, not simply hand someone a flyer.

Giveaways are HUGE part of the Good Stuff Expo experience and help create excitement throughout the event.

GIVEAWAY AT YOUR BOOTH
Make the giveaway at your booth noticeable and enticing so attendees immediately understand what they could win and how to enter.

Use it to encourage meaningful engagement with your business – whether that’s joining your email list, following your business on social media, entering a drawing or participating in your booth's experience.

GIVEAWAY DONATION TO HWMAG
Your other donated giveaway to Horizon West Magazine will be leveraged to encourage attendance, participation during the event and/or during the Good Stuff Gala or a future giveaway. This item should be in physical form and be dropped off at one of our two offices no later than September 21st.

CREATE CONTENT WHILE YOU'RE THERE

Event day is a great opportunity to create content for your own brand. Capture your booth, team, interactions with attendees and the energy of the Good Stuff Expo. Tag Horizon West Magazine so we can see what you’re sharing and even maybe share it on our channels!
