Library Pop-up Events Emerge Ahead of Horizon West Branch Opening, Spring 2026

OCLS hosts events for all ages in Horizon West

Concept Meets Construction

Construction of the long-awaited Horizon West library branch is currently underway, exciting Horizon Westers of all ages.

In anticipation of the new library branch, the Orange County Library System (OCLS) is offering a variety of outreach events in Horizon West's Waterleigh neighborhood that hope to connect our community before the library’s official opening in Spring of this year.

Our new branch has been designed with the future Horizon West Regional Park in mind, offering 20,000 square feet of library space along with OCLS’s first planned outdoor events area.

The branch and joining park space is designed to serve as a community hub, offering not only books and digital resources, but also a range of cultural and educational events to our Horizon West community.

In November 2024, Horizon West community leaders and residents gathered for the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Horizon West library, located between Horizon West's Town Center and the Village of Bridgewater, off Hamlin Groves Trail.

These programs give a preview of what’s to come at the new library while offering opportunities for residents to connect with like-minded neighbors.
