Craig Martin has spent nearly three decades in the insurance industry, but if you ask him what he does for a living, he will tell you his job is “helping people.” A local resident, avid community supporter and “coach” to all his clients, he does much more than just managing risk and protecting assets.

“My team and I work together to fulfill our responsibility to the community to provide outstanding service, but we also endeavor to fulfill our moral obligation of protecting what's important to our customer so they can focus on accomplishing their life goals,” Craig explains.

A self-proclaimed perpetual student, Craig is always adding to his certifications and expertise to offer comprehensive services in an ever-changing economic climate. His team learns continuously and adds to their combined 100 years of insurance experience every day.

Craig says his 28 years have gone by in a flash, but he has seen and learned a lot along the way. He puts that experience to work for his clients every day.

State Farm has historically been involved with volunteerism and community outreach, and Craig Martin Insurance is continuing that tradition right here in Horizon West in several ways. The team participates in Orange County Public School’s Partners in Education program, which connects education with the business community to provide students with even more opportunities for success. Participating annually in OCPS “Teach In” (Career Day) event and setting up supply drives for local schools are just a few examples of ways they support children.

Others include coordinating an annual toy drive for Matthew’s Hope Ministries, a faith-based homeless outreach ministry in Orange County, and supporting Nathaniel’s Hope, an organization dedicated to celebrating kids with special needs (VIPs) as well as educating and equipping communities and churches to provide programs and assistance for VIP families.

Personally, Craig and his family are also part of their local church prayer team, and they sponsor a child through Compassion International, which is a humanitarian aid organization that aims to positively impact the development of children living in poverty, globally.
