PopStroke Sets Opening Date in Hamlin, Unveils New Restaurant Concept

If you've been wondering what's behind all the buzz and bulldozers in Hamlin, wonder no more. PopStroke Winter Garden will open on August 6th at 10 a.m. The new mini-golf and restaurant venue is located at 5487 Hamlin Groves Trail, Winter Garden, FL 34787.  Hours of operation are Sunday–Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Thursday–Saturday, 9 a.m. to midnight.

This long-anticipated addition to Horizon West has had locals watching and waiting since its announcement in 2021. Soon residents will be teeing off at this one-of-a-kind golf and dining experience where cutting-edge putting courses meet craft food and drinks, all designed to bring friends and families together for serious fun.

PopStroke is co-owned by Greg Bartoli, Tiger Woods and TaylorMade Golf. Each location features two 18-hole putting courses designed by the PopStroke Greens Team, along with an outdoor dining area serving up a full menu, craft beer, wine, signature cocktails, ice cream, outdoor games and a kid-friendly playground.

This isn't your typical golf course! PopStroke is all about making the game accessible and fun for everyone. No experience? No problem. They welcome first-timers and seasoned pros alike.

The synthetic turf courses are built to look and feel like traditional fairways, complete with bunkers and rough. But this isn't just about getting out on the green, PopStroke brings tech into the mix to create an interactive, competitive vibe that’s friendly, fast-paced and fun.

This opening marks a transformative step for PopStroke’s restaurant concept. The newly created “BarTenders” is a family-friendly restaurant designed to elevate the casual dining experience while highlighting their crowd-favorite chicken tenders and crispy chicken sandwich. Overlooking the greens, BarTenders features an indoor climate-controlled environment as well as outdoor seating that invites guests to sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious meal in a setting that effortlessly blends outdoor beauty with contemporary design. The bar scene, with its laid-back vibe and expansive views, reimagines the traditional concept of a bar, offering an inclusive and inviting environment for guests of all ages.

The name BarTenders was chosen to highlight our passion for perfecting the perfect chicken tender, and creating a brand focused on hospitality delivered by our best-in-class bartenders. Chicken tenders have long been a staple and a menu must for the young and young at heart, and now it’s part of an elevated, family-oriented dining experience. At BarTenders, the focus is on delivering a scratch-made menu featuring popular American bar food favorites like chicken tenders, smash burgers, wings, fresh salads and unexpected fan favorites like ahi tuna nachos.

The PopStroke staff also interacts with the proprietary technology to deliver a best-in-class experience, ensuring every guest is welcomed and served in the most efficient and personalized way possible. The venue will feature customized interactive elements and 36 strategically placed TVs at every hole to maintain an engaging experience. Upgrades such as mister fans throughout the course will keep guests cool on hot summer days, while the indoor/outdoor climate-controlled restaurant and event space ensures comfort year-round.

As with all PopStroke venues, the Winter Garden location will offer an exclusive monthly membership program, providing access to all PopStroke locations.
