Veteran's Day Walk/Ruck 2023

This Veterans Day, November 11, 2023, the newly formed Horizon West American Legion Post 419 has partnered with Home State Brewing Co to create a memorable event that pays tribute to our brave veterans who have served their country. Everyone is invited to participate whether you are a veteran or just want to show your appreciation and respect. You're encouraged to wear your branch, tie those boots or sneakers, grab your ruck, stroller and flags.

The walk/ruck/run will start at Home State Brewing Co., go to Bass Park and return to Home State Brewing Co.. Those not running or walking can gather at Home State Brewing Co. and wait on your friends, family, and neighbors to complete the event - providing a great opportunity to connect with friends and family and make a conscious choice to give of your time and heart by supporting those that have served for our nation.

Fundraising raffle prizes, which you will be able to enter for at the event, will be drawn at the next monthly meeting of the HW American Legion Post 419 and winners will be notified. Funds raised will go to the American Legion to provide youth and community programs and to assist our Horizon West Veterans.

We encourage you to come together as a community and show our veterans how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice.
