Summer is growing near and Horizon West Magazine wants to enable every child to find their perfect camp experience—whether it's during summer break or spring break. And with so many fantastic camp options right here in our Horizon West community, the added convenience for Mom and Dad is a given.
Our area is offers a treasure trove of camp opportunities designed to cater to a diverse array of interests and ages. From budding athletes to aspiring performers and young scientists, there's a camp tailored to ignite passion and foster skill development—not just in the summer months, but even during spring break for a fun-filled week of discovery. Spring break camps can also be a great way for kids to sample programs before committing to a full summer session!

We believe that structure is the key to a successful camp. Western Orlando Volleyball Club Camp

DETAILS: The volleyball camp is led by Horizon High School Varsity Coach Ernest Rittenhouse, in his 30th year of high school coaching, along with HHS JV Coach Jadyn Pike, and HHS Freshman Coach/Water Springs Middle School Volleyball Coach, Gabby Quinones.
Volleyball Camp is geared toward girls ages 12–15 not in high school quite yet (incoming freshman welcome) that are looking to improve their volleyball skills set. All campers are placed into groups of similar ages and skill level in order to ensure the most improvement, challenge, and fun during the camp experience.
Girls participate in drills that teach the technical aspects of the game, increasing the player’s skill level while remaining fun. Proper fundamentals are the focus, with an emphasis on form, movement, and technique. There is specialization training for position specific skills. Whether you’re looking to become a better hitter, setter, passer, blocker or libero, the camp is a great place to learn or improve these skills.
