May 22, 2025

Looking to Skip the Airport this Summer and Still Feel Like You’ve Gotten Away?

From rooftop views and beach lagoons to dive-in movies and themed family nights, Orlando’s resort hotels are rolling out summer packages that make staying local feel like a true escape. Whether you're planning a family adventure, a relaxing couple’s retreat or just a quiet weekend by the pool, these resorts offer something for everyone—and all just a short drive from home.

Conrad Orlando at Evermore Resort

Set on 1,100 acres near Walt Disney World, Conrad Orlando is part of the new Evermore Resort community. It offers a full slate of amenities for families, couples and anyone looking to unwind in style. Guests can explore Evermore Bay, a 20-acre lagoon with white-sand beaches, water activities and daily programming like treasure hunts, dive-in movies, sunset portraits, cosmic golf and family Olympics. Kids Club runs daily, and grown-ups can relax in a poolside cabana or book a spa treatment designed to transport and recharge.

The Conrad Spa Orlando was recently named one of the Top 100 Spas in the Americas and offers everything from mineral soaks and body wraps to guided sound meditation, all set within a calming hydrotherapy garden inspired by Florida’s natural springs. Wellness Guest Rooms provide direct access to the spa and are optimized for restful sleep and travel recovery.

Golf lovers can tee off at the Grand Cypress Golf courses, located within the resort gates, featuring two distinct 18-hole experiences designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Dining options are plentiful. Conrad Orlando is home to several distinctive venues, including upscale Mexican cuisine at Ceiba, Mediterranean-inspired fare at Sophia’s Trattoria, and poolside drinks and bites at Veranda. Guests can also walk to additional restaurants across the Evermore campus, such as the laid-back Twin View for breakfast and lively Blue Hole Cantina for tacos and tequila with lagoon views.

OFFER: This summer’s “Experience More” offer includes a $150 resort credit and complimentary valet parking with a two-night minimum stay. The resort is also a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel with complimentary shuttle service to the theme parks. Learn more at conradorlando.com.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

Luxury meets family-friendly fun at this AAA Five Diamond resort tucked away inside the Golden Oak community. Guests of all ages love Explorer Island, the five-acre water park with a lazy river, splash zone, waterslides and zero-entry family pool. Adults can slip away to the Oasis Pool, a serene, kids-free area with cocktails, cabanas and lake views.

The spa is another standout, offering seasonal treatments, wellness experiences and thoughtful extras like guided meditation and body rituals. A fun tip for locals: select spa treatments include access to the resort’s Oasis Pool, making for an ideal daycation without an overnight stay.

Families will also enjoy complimentary access to the Kids For All Seasons camp, in-room celebrations and the popular Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & His Pals.

Dining is a major part of the experience here, with six on-site restaurants ranging from the rooftop Capa steakhouse to southern-inspired fare at Plancha. Whether you're looking for fine dining, poolside bites or family-friendly menus, there’s something to suit every taste.

Golfers can enjoy the 18-hole Tranquilo Golf Course, a certified Audubon Sanctuary that blends natural beauty with championship play.
