The Walt Disney World Resort is poised to captivate tourists and locals alike with a dazzling new summertime experience that promises to illuminate the evening skies nightly at Disney Springs. "Disney Dreams That Soar Presented by AT&T," an exciting new drone show, is set to debut, offering an unparalleled fusion of technology, storytelling, and music.
Scheduled to run from May 24 to September 2, 2024, "Disney Dreams That Soar" is not just another nighttime entertainment offering; it's a testament to Disney's commitment to innovation and delivering unforgettable experiences. Harnessing the power of state-of-the-art drones, the show will choreograph intricate designs in the night sky, accompanied by a soaring musical score and beloved movie quotes, creating a new immersive experience.
Featuring a sweeping original soundtrack that was recorded in-studio by a full orchestra, plus iconic movie quotes from films including “Peter Pan,” “Dumbo,” “Wall-E,” “Big Hero 6,” and “Star Wars,” the show celebrates taking dreams to the skies.
As described by the Disney Parks Blog, "'You can fly' takes on a whole new meaning as we showcase Disney stories celebrating the joy of flight." The show promises to enchant audiences of all ages, drawing them into a world where imagination knows no bounds.
Guests will watch as 800 drones magically form various Disney characters in the sky. Some of the fan-favorites measure nearly 400 feet. For example, the Death Star in the show reaches a height of 213 feet, larger than Spaceship Earth at EPCOT, which stands at 180 feet!
