A new principal was named on May 23rd at the Orange County School board meeting. This announcement comes just in time to have wrapped up the final week of the 2022-2023 school year.
Principal Sanchez will begin his role at the brand new Water Spring Middle School Campus in the fall for the 2023-2024 school year. The new campus is located at 17000 Water Spring Blvd. Previously, the middle school was located on campus with Horizon High School, with long-time community leader and 2019 Who’s Who Honoree, Andrew Jackson serving as principal for both student bodies.
“We had a small staff but were mighty in school spirit. We crafted our culture and climate and created new traditions. We were a school at a temporary home, and we thrived. We established our shared identity and vales. GoWildcats! became our instant chant and battle cry. We were established.”, says the new principal.
