Each village has a unique personality. It is important to educate yourself in the master plan of the community and rely on an expert in the village design concept. I can assure you that no two villages are the same! 

Choosing a neighborhood comes down to building a list of wants and needs with each client and factoring in their preferred lifestyle.

Questions I often ask are: 

• Do you prefer a large community with many amenities & opportunities to connect with neighbors at events? 
• Do you prefer a smaller, more intimate community?
• Is lake access a must-have? If so, is lakefront a dream you are hoping to make happen?
• What kind of HOA fees are you used to? What kind of fees work for your budget?
• Is a brand-new community preferred or is something more established a better fit?
• Do you have school-aged children? Walkable schools are high on many client lists!

Horizon West began long before the first home was built. A master plan was born of a desire to create a purposeful future.  After a decade of planning, the first village finally broke ground in 1997. Major growth was seen in the 2000s and took a pause during the recession. 2015 welcomed a resurgence and it hasn’t slowed since!  

Having this information helps you make an informed decision when it comes to choosing a village, weighing your wants and needs and appreciating your part in the living history of Horizon West! While we are currently the 3rd fastest growing community in the nation, there is so much more still to come.
