Two restaurants are cooking up Mother’s Day menus at the “#1 Best Hotel and Best Resort in Walt Disney World” according to “U.S. News & World Report.” The Michelin-starred rooftop steakhouse, Capa, will have a Spanish-inspired prix fixe brunch, “El Arte de Celebrar a Mama” (The Art of Celebrating Mom).
That menu includes a trio of crudos for the table (Hokkaido scallop tartare, bluefin tuna, lightly smoked Indian River oyster), shared plates with choices including razor clams, wagyu beef cheek Benedict with quail eggs, and tortilla de patatas presse with Royal Ossetra Caviar. Entrée choices are Madeira Beach American red snapper, Iberico pluma pork loin, or Black Opal Australian wagyu New York strip. For dessert: churros de Madrid, pistachio choux mousseline, or white chocolate mousse with mango-pineapple confit. Capa’s Mother’s Day brunch is reservation only, at $225 for adults and $65 for children. Capa will also have the regular dinner menu, 6-10 p.m.
Four Seasons’ Plancha has a Latin-inspired menu, looks out over the resort’s golf course, and will have a Mother’s Day brunch buffet, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., priced at $140 for adults and $55 per child, also bookable at OpenTable.
They have also recently started an afternoon tea service on weekends through May 24 inside Michelin-recommended modern Italian Ravello. For Mother’s Day weekend, the “Spring in Bloom” tea will be held Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9 – but not on Mother’s day Sunday.
The menu from Executive Pastry Chef Rabii Saber includes traditional tea sandwiches, including vegetarian options, and sweet desserts. The event also includes live music and a bouquet station with flowers to take home. Seatings are between 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. and priced at $80 for adults and $40 for children 2-12.
