TJ Maxx Now Open in Hamlin
Hamlin Location Brings Brand-name Fashion and Home Finds at Value Prices
Horizon West shoppers have a new place to score deals as TJ Maxx officially opened its newest location at Hamlin Cove on Sunday, March 1.
The national off-price retailer welcomed customers to its approximately 25,000-square-foot store at 5758 Hamlin Groves Trail (next-door to Urban Air Adventure Park), adding another major retail option in the rapidly growing Hamlin area.
“We’re thrilled to join the Winter Garden community,” said Nancy Carpenter, president of TJ Maxx. “We look forward to providing local shoppers with an ever-changing selection of high-quality merchandise at exceptional value so they can express their true ‘maxx’ selves.”
Grand Opening Brings Early Crowds
Doors opened at 8 a.m. on March 1, with shoppers arriving early to explore the new space and take advantage of opening-day savings. A DJ fueled the energy and kept the atmosphere lively for shoppers and staff who celebrated the grand opening.
The store features an easy-to-shop layout, bright and spacious dressing rooms and a single line queue designed to streamline checkout. Regular hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., seven days a week.
The Hamlin location offers a wide assortment of brand-name and designer fashion, accessories, jewelry, home décor and beauty products at off-price retail values.
Store Manager Jorge leads the Hamlin location. He was eager to say hello and welcome shoppers entering the store through a balloon arch designed in TJ Maxx colors on opening day. And a DJ greeted guests with upbeat tunes as they arrived.
A Treasure Hunt Shopping Experience
TJ Maxx is known for its ever-changing selection. Company buyers work with thousands of brands and designers around the world, sourcing merchandise year-round rather than seasonally.

By purchasing opportunistically, the retailer is able to offer on-trend styles and recognizable labels at lower prices. Because new shipments arrive frequently, shoppers can expect fresh finds on every visit.
Supporting the Local Community
As part of its opening celebration, TJ Maxx donated $10,000 to a local charity, reinforcing its commitment to the local community.
The store will also participate in the company’s annual in-store fundraising campaign supporting Save the Children’s U.S. Programs.
With its doors now open at Hamlin Cove, TJ Maxx adds another national retailer to the area while bringing new shopping options and community investment to Horizon West residents.
