Wherever You Are, Warrior One Yoga is Ready to Welcome You!

There is a place for you in the Warrior One Community.

When we say “wherever” you are, we mean wherever you are on your personal journey- physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Warrior One yoga studio has responded to the trying times of 2020 by making space in their community for you to show up, just as you are. Owner – Julie Sanchez- has made it her mission to make room for each and every person to connect with a community of people who value whole body, mind, and spirit wellness.

Julie's doing this in a number of innovative ways which we are so excited to share with you, but first let us tell you a bit about Warrior One . 


There are many approaches to the practice of yoga. At Warrior One Winter Garden-Windermere, you'll be introduced to Baptiste Yoga ™. The WOWGW mission is to uplift and inspire with a vision to empower each individual to live their most extraordinary life. Warrior One practices a combination of physical yoga, meditation, and active self-inquiry. The technique is used as a tool of transformation, encouraging participants to reclaim their full potential, discover creativity, awaken passion, and create authenticity, confidence and new possibilities. 


What makes this community so unique is the ability to show up exactly as you are. No experience necessary! If you have never practiced yoga before or if meditation is foreign to you, it is perfectly ok. There are no bonus points for being able to stand on your head. Their compassionate and qualified teaching team is ready to meet you right where you are in your wellness journey, even if and especially if you are on day one. You will always be warmly welcomed. Yin yoga is focused on intentional stretching and deep relaxation. Poses are held gently for longer periods of time- usually 2 to 5 minutes- to create space, build agility and maintain ease of motion. Most of the class is practiced seated or lying down and is great for beginners! It’s also an excellent choice for those looking to increase their range of motion, recover from injuries or prevent future injuries. 


The purpose of yin yoga is to target deep connective tissues, ligaments, joints and bones. This class option is slower paced and more meditative providing space and time for you to relax into your thoughts, notice physical sensations and become mindful. Focusing on your breath through discomfort is an integral part of the class. Yin yoga is a journey into self and an opportunity to be at peace with your thoughts. All levels are encouraged to attend. 

Warrior One’s signature class takes it's inspiration from the Baptiste style of power yoga. Practice is performed in a heated room of 90 degrees. Exercising in an environment above normal body temperature increases your internal temperature which promotes blood flow to skin cells. Our bodies sweat in order to achieve and maintain homeostasis.  Vigorous and challenging poses lead to a healthy sweat sesh enabling you to rid your body of excess water and salt! Each class has a focus or theme, so you have the chance to grow within your personal practice. Modifications are always offered, making this class a fun choice for many students of all skill levels. Expect to find yourself in sun salutations, backbends, balancing poses, twists and hip openers, with an important focus on breathing. 


Deep sweat as experienced in a hot yoga class can aid in the removal of environmental chemicals, pollutants and other toxins that are hindering your health. The tell-tale sign of a great class is that notable post-yoga glow students experience!  

Warrior One offers a variety of classes on ZOOM so that you are able to attend at your comfort level and convenience every day! Hot yoga, Cool Flow and Yin are all offered virtually. 


Their team of experienced teachers also welcomes you to attend an outdoor class. Options vary throughout the year, so be sure to Download the MindBody App and mark Warrior One as a favorite so that you can see a full roster of classes every day and sign up for the one you want to try! 


Beginners through advanced are welcome to attend with teachers who are trained to modify up or down based on your needs.

Join in every morning at 9:05am on zoom for a free 15-minute meditation to start off your day. The major benefit of ZOOM is that you can do this meditation as you drink your morning coffee, sit at your office desk, or even on your morning walk! 


Meditation has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, control anxiety, and promote emotional health.
