Epilogue Awaits: A Secret Speakeasy Joins Dining Experiences at Four Seasons Orlando
Cocktails, Cuisine and Luxury Close to Home

For many, a night at the Four Seasons feels like a far-off dream. For Horizon West residents, it’s practically in our backyard. Just minutes from our neighborhoods lies one of the most celebrated resorts in the country: Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. It’s a destination that combines elegance, exceptional service and culinary artistry, offering experiences people travel across the globe to enjoy.
Recently, we had the privilege of attending a progressive dining event at the resort, one that revealed the perfect way to spend an indulgent evening close to home. From the hidden speakeasy, Epilogue, to the Italian warmth of Ravello, and the rooftop grandeur of Michelin-starred Capa, the night unfolded like a perfectly composed story. And each chapter was more enchanting than the last.
Step Into the Story: Epilogue, a Hidden Speakeasy
Tucked behind a secret door within the resort is Epilogue, a mid-century-inspired speakeasy that feels plucked from another era. Accessed after a discreet and clever scavenger-hunt-like entry, guests are transported into a moody, intimate library space where Florida’s vibrant history is told not just in words, but through meticulously crafted cocktails.
Staff here are not servers, but narrators. Each drink is presented as a chapter, paired with a short story pulled from the forgotten past of our state. Guests receive a hefty book filled with these tales, instructed to choose whichever story and cocktail speaks to them. Then, narrators bring the stories to life as your drink arrives. It’s interactive, whimsical and immersive in a way few bars ever achieve.
The drinks themselves? Elevated doesn’t begin to describe them. Artfully balanced, beautifully presented and infused with unexpected ingredients, each creation feels like a work of art. Non-alcoholic options are given equal attention, making this a place for any and all who appreciate mixology at its finest.
Though food isn’t offered, a gourmet smoked rosemary-Parmesan popcorn keeps glasses company, with refills flowing as freely as the conversation. Photos are not permitted inside, preserving the mystery of the space, but a designated photo spot outside encourages guests to capture the spirit of the evening.
.
From start to finish, Epilogue is a must-do experience. It’s sophisticated, playful and utterly unique. This an experience you'll be talking about long after the night ends!
Chapter Two: A Taste of Italy at Ravello

After cocktails, the progressive journey continues with appetizers at Ravello, the resort’s signature Italian restaurant. It is warm, welcoming and the perfect setting for a leisurely pause before the night’s grand finale.
Here, the heart of Italy comes alive in dishes crafted with authenticity and high-quality seasonal ingredients. The kitchen’s dedication is evident in every bite. Executive Chef Fabrizio Schenardi puts great care in their house-made pastas, wood-fired pizzas and fresh seafood, preparing each dish with bold flavors that honor tradition while feeling distinctly modern.
Ravello’s bar deserves its own spotlight. Their Ravello Spritz is a bright, refreshing twist on Italy’s iconic Aperol Spritz, perfect for easing into the evening. The wine list is well-rounded too, with Italian sparkling, bold reds and crisp whites that pair beautifully with the kitchen’s pasta and seafood.
For your progressive meal journey, start here by sharing a wood-fired pizza or the Polpettine — a flavorful combination of meatballs, prosciutto and pomodoro sauce with creamy mascarpone. Seafood lovers will delight in the Tonno e Salmone Crudo, a delicate plate of tuna and salmon brightened with citrus emulsion and roasted peppers. Even the simplest dishes, like tomato and mozzarella focaccia and the burrata crostini, are elevated by the kitchen’s mastery.
A Stunning Finale: Dinner with a View at Capa
No evening at the Four Seasons is complete without a visit to Capa, the resort’s Michelin-starred rooftop steakhouse. Located on the 17th floor, this Spanish-influenced restaurant combines showstopping cuisine with an atmosphere unlike any other. The open kitchen, wood-burning grill and sweeping views of Orlando — including patio access to view Disney's nightly fireworks — set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The menu reads like a treasure trove of luxury with plenty to tempt you before the main course. Tapas like Hígado Graso (foie gras with sherry) and Tuétano (rich, wood-roasted bone marrow) feel indulgent. And even the crudos (raw bar) offers surprises like the Atún Crudo, tuna finished with caviar and half-dried grapes in ajo blanco.
Our meal began with Verdes, a salad of fresh field greens accented with pickled peach, creamy goat cheese and walnut barbacoa. It's unique blend of refreshing and bold flavors that we would certainly order again. We would add the chef's selections of Spanish charcuterie and cheeses on the next visit, too.
Of course, the heart of Capa is its grill. Steak lovers will find plenty to swoon over here, from classic ribeyes and filets to elevated cuts like Australian Wagyu and even the option to sample a flight of Wagyu from around the world. Seafood is equally at home on the menu, with dishes like Paella de Mariscos, Chilean Seabass and a 1.5 lb. Maine Lobster.
For us, the standout was the Tomahawk Steak, an impressive 32 ounces of Australian Wagyu that is as much a visual spectacle as it is a culinary one, especially when paired with caramelized black onions and sides like roasted squash with whipped Manchego or buttery Yukon Gold potatoes.
To drink, Capa’s credentials are equally impressive. It was named one of Wine Enthusiast’s “100 Best Wine Restaurants” in the U.S. in 2016. The wine list is vast and thoughtful, spanning both Old and New World selections. Cocktail lovers are just as well taken care of, with options ranging from the exciting Buena Vista (Jalapeño-Infused Corazón Tequila, Citrus, Salt Air, Electric Dust Fire) to the classic Capa Vodka Tonic (St. Augustine vodka, tonic, citrus, botanicals).
And then there’s dessert. Capa’s sweets rival its steaks in artistry, but the true showstopper is the Tarta de Queso, a Basque-style cheesecake unlike any you’ve tried before. With no crust, it melts into a custard-like texture, impossibly creamy and rich. It's topped tableside with warm chocolate hazelnut ganache. This is the kind of dish photos can’t accurately capture. You must experience it firsthand. This dessert alone is worth the trip!
Overall Theme: Luxury Next Door
A progressive dinner here isn’t something you’ll find listed on any menu. It’s something you create for yourself.
Start with a cocktail in the hidden speakeasy, move on to antipasti at Ravello, then finish with steaks and dessert with a fireworks view at Capa. Stringing these experiences together turns an ordinary evening into something unforgettable.
And the best part? For Horizon Westers, this world of luxury isn’t a vacation away, it’s just a few minutes down the road. It reminds of how fortunate we are to have such an extraordinary experience nearby. All you need is a dressy outfit and the desire to indulge. No travel required.
