Meals at No Charge Return for All OCPS Students

For the 2026-27 school year, all students at Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) will receive school meals at no charge. Every student will have the opportunity to enjoy wholesome meals during the school day.
Families of students at Horizon West's two newest schools, Atwater Bay Elementary and Ovation Elementary, must complete the Free and Reduced Meal Benefits Application to help OCPS continue providing meals at no charge at these schools. Only one application is needed per family. Qualifying families may also receive additional benefits, including discounts on home internet service and waivers for SAT and ACT exam fees. Completed applications may also help schools qualify for increased technology funding.
What's on the Menu?
Students can build a nutritious meal by choosing three to five components. The five components are protein, grains, vegetables, fruits and milk.
For menu details, visit the school menu calendar and search for your child's school.
Fueling Student Success
The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) helps ensure every student has access to nutritious food. By making meals available to all students, the program supports their well-being, academic performance and sense of belonging.
OCPS is dedicated to fueling students’ brains and filling their bellies for a successful school year ahead!
